What Anime Fest Plus Is
Anime Fest Plus is run by Comic Fiesta Sdn Bhd, the company behind Comic Fiesta — the December convention at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre that drew 75,000 visitors in 2025.
Anime Fest Plus is the smaller, more frequent sibling. Same ground — anime, comics, games and cosplay, with exhibitors, merchandise, special guests and stage performances — at a scale that fits a hall rather than a full convention centre takeover. For a scene that historically had one big weekend a year, having extra fixtures on the calendar changes how people budget for it.
Dates, Hours And Venue
- Dates: 26–27 September 2026 (Saturday and Sunday)

WTC KL sits on the edge of Chow Kit, walkable from the PWTC LRT station. Parking exists but a weekend convention fills it early.
Two-Day Pass vs Single-Day Ticket
The two formats are not the same product.

The re-entry detail is the practical one. Both formats let you leave the hall and come back, which matters when the food options inside a convention are what they are.
Buying Before 24 September
Three routes, with different deadlines:
- Ticket2u pre-order. Buy online and redeem during show days. Pre-orders end 24 September 2026.
- Retail partners. Over-the-counter sales run until 25 September, or while stocks last, through OH! Gatcha, ANI HONBU, Ace Cards and NOT ONLY TOY outlets across the Klang Valley and Putrajaya. The full store list is on the organiser's ticket page — call ahead for availability before travelling.
- On-site purchase. Available only on 26 and 27 September, subject to the daily cap.
Courier delivery was offered but sales for that option closed on 17 September.
OKU And Child Rates
Discounted single-day tickets are available at RM15 per day for two groups:
- Persons with disabilities holding a valid OKU card, upon registration with the card at the event or at redemption. Accompanying guardians need their own valid pass.
- Children aged 6 to 12, upon registration with a valid MyKid card, and only when accompanied by a paying adult holding a valid pass.
The verification rule is strict. You must present a valid OKU or MyKid card equal to the number of discounted tickets purchased before collecting wristbands. Failure to do so results in forfeiture of the purchase with no refund, including for online purchases made earlier.
Children under 6 enter free with a ticketed guardian, though the organiser advises against bringing small children given the crowd and noise.
What Your Ticket Does Not Guarantee
This is the part that catches first-timers.
All tickets and entry passes grant access to the exhibition halls. Entry to the Main Stage and other activities is first come, first served, subject to safety and capacity limits.
So a two-day pass does not reserve you a seat for a guest appearance or a cosplay competition final. If there is a specific stage slot you care about, the queue for it is a separate exercise from the queue to get in.
Anyone who has queued for a concert ticket drop in Malaysia already knows the drill — the transaction and the experience are two different scarcities.
Why The Caps Are The Story
Malaysian fan events have spent the last few years moving from "turn up and see" to "plan and pre-order". MPL Malaysia turned a shopping mall floor into a weekly live venue. Concert promoters now stage multi-tier ticket ladders for mid-size rooms.
Publishing a hard cap — 2,000 passes, 7,500 per day — is part of that shift. It is a crowd-safety measure, and a signal that demand now regularly exceeds what a hall can hold. For attendees the takeaway is unglamorous: the decision to go has moved forward by a week.
