LepakLah

Editorial Policy

Who we are

Lepaklah is an independent Malaysian lifestyle magazine, founded and edited by Bryan Lee in Kuala Lumpur.

How we research

Every factual claim — a price, an address, an opening time, a statistic — is checked against a primary source before it's published. Where a fact can't be verified, we leave it out rather than estimate. We link to the original source, not an aggregator. For money, health, and legal topics, sourcing is mandatory and every claim is cited.

How we use AI

Some Lepaklah articles are drafted with AI assistance. Every article is reviewed by a human editor before publication. Articles carrying Bryan Lee's byline are written or substantially rewritten by him and reflect his own experience and opinions. Articles under the Lepaklah Editorial byline are researched, drafted with AI assistance, and edited by our team.

We do this because it lets a small team cover more ground. We tell you because you deserve to know.

Bylines

We do not invent authors. We do not invent credentials. We do not fabricate personal experiences.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it, and we say what changed. Tell us via our contact page, or see our corrections page.

Money

Some articles contain affiliate or sponsored links. These are always disclosed at the top of the article. Sponsored content never affects our editorial opinion, and we do not accept payment for positive coverage. See our advertising disclosure.

What we don't do

We don't give medical, legal, or financial advice. We report, explain, and point you to people who can. We don't publish fortune-telling, lucky numbers, or gambling content.
